Fantastic research work Sandra and RunKitty, once again you've done a great job, even finding extras along the way!
However, did you find or can you find the passings of Florence Jane, Ada Maud Uren, John G Jones (also his birth and their marriage) and George Craddock (also his birth and their marriage)
Also the maiden name of May, wife of William James Lewin.
There appears to be a missing child, I think this is John who was 9 months old when Albert joined the CEF?
I'm guessing that the grandchildren's births, marriages, etc will be impossible to find out? Although there are some 4 names for the Craddock children from the obituary.

You have done very well with the information that has been found, not everyone is so successful. Think I have said on previous threads - Canada does not have a BMD index - due to privacy restrictions - we are sometimes able to find birth dates, marriage dates etc from obituaries, newspapers, etc.,
It does take quite considerable time trawling newspapers when we have no dates.
It is quite possible that the husband of Dorothy May Craddock could still be living, hence we have found no obituary as yet.  The Craddock children are living people, you could try tracing them thru Canada 411
The surname Jones (as in J G Jones would be almost impossible to locate a birth record for unless we had further information perhaps)
Florence Lewin may have passed in 1974 which is all the information we have so far - since they lived in Toronto - try the library.
Gordon P Uren passed away Scarborough Ontario - perhaps contact the funeral home and see if they might pass a message to the family. Or contact Pine Hills Cemetery to see if Ada Uren is buried with him or next to him.
Lots of options for you to try  ;)

The 1921 Census does not show a John with the Lewin family  ???

Albert Lewin   38 Florence Lewin   33
Albert Lewin   15 Aida Lewin   14
Irene Lewin   13 Alfred Lewin   9
William Lewin   2
Willard Marshall   60 Agnes Marshall   59

Thank you Sandra for pointing that reminder out. I've got so used to doing well with you I forget sometimes about the strange data protection laws there.
John presumably must have died before 1921 but is shown as Albert's son on his attestation papers on here.

Death records only available 100 years or more ago.

Canada Voters List 1957 - showed Florence Lewin (retired) living with the Craddock Family - 587 Brimley Road York Scarborough Ontario.

Canada Voters List for 1974 - Scarborough East - Mrs Florence Lewin - 225 Lawrence Ave East Apts.

In the USA city directories usually refer to the year previous - could be the same for Canada  ???

Perhaps an enquiry Public Libraries Scarborough Ontario or the Cemetery might help where Albert was buried - St Johns Norway Toronto.  Most couples are buried together or next to each other.
