Thomas Donald Harris
« on: Thursday 29 September 16 14:39 BST (UK) »
T D Harris was born 04.1908 in Stockton to Thomas Harris and Mary Kemp. He was KIA in Tunisia on 28.03.1943 as Cpl., 6 Bn. Durham Light Infantry. He left a wife Ruhamah. He is buried in Tunisia according to the CWGC.

Does anyone have any info on his army career, early life pre army, his wife etc?

What else do you know about him before we duplicate what you already know. Please?

Why don't you apply for his marriage certificate, if you want all the detail on his wife

Secondly, have you looked at thee 1939 register,

Look him up on the 1939 register, to possibly find out his occupation before the war.

Also, what occupation was shown on the marriage certificate?

I cannot find him on 1939 census?

That's a pity - Ruhamah is a rare name (although far from unique) and would have guaranteed finding the right couple.
I wonder where they were - unless Thomas was regular army and serving abroad.
