I have worked on developing my direct ancestral lines for over 20 years, and until this week, had managed to identify 26 ancestral lines. 100% of these lines, or in other words, all lines to-date were from Wexford. I wonder if this is some sort of record?
However, a few days ago I discovered a 27th line, the Currans. Today, I managed to trace this Curran family back to Hillbrook, in the parish of Carnew, Co. Wicklow So, my family and I are no longer 100% pure native sons of the model county! This will take some mental adjustment!
