West End Drapery Stores Truro
« on: Sunday 02 October 16 13:08 BST (UK) »
Hi
Does anyone have any or know where there may be pictures of the West End Drapery Stores in Quay Street or Princes Street Truro probably between 1900-1940?

The only picture of a drapery in Truro I can find is of a place called Webb & Co.
Not sure where it was - but it looks a bit like what is now Waterstones.
The photo is in the book entitled "Bygone Truro" by Sheila Bird.

Cornwall Council has catalogued some photographs of the store(s) in its Walkey family, Truro West End Drapery Stores collection. See:

Thanks kernowyon and Shaun J for your help.  I've just found those records relating to the West End Drapery Stores and have requested some copies.  Thanks.
