Is Easter Suddie the transcribed Suddie Burial Ground?
« on: Sunday 24 July 05 06:06 BST (UK) »
Hi all,
while looking at a map of the Black Isle - my ancestors lived at Strath of Auchterflow, which would appear to be Northwest of Avoch. I also noticed on the multimap that it was close to a place called Easter Suddie with a disused church. i s this the Suddie whic has been transcribed? Also on another website it says this fell into disuse in 1762, does that mean no-one was buried there after this date? If so this is too early for me at this stage though I have noticed some McLennans and bains buried there.

Have just checked there  were people still being buried there after that date, if not buried then their ashes scattered.

One of my own ancestors is listed and dates 1984
