Any ideas please as to the location of this

Corner Shop. House & Sign Decorator, Gas & Water Fitter and Plumber.

Edwardian corner property on a slight incline. Distinctive bricks. No traders' name. Also a Paper Hanger and seller of Paints. Photo by NORTH of Reading, Berkshire. Looks like a single digit door number (probably #1)!

Well you would think they would have a name on there wouldn't you!

What does it say in the two white circles on the window to the left?  I can see it says "gas lights" underneath.

Agree the number is 1.

Is the name Plumber and Son???   Probably that is just one on the trades carried out

Edit -In the left window I think it says Welsback Gas lights

I guess if you're painting for a living getting round to your own painting is the last thing you want to do (hence no name)!
The words read WELSBACH a proprietary name for incandescent gas mantles.
(I will only include words if they're relevant)!
