Lovely surprise to wake up this morning and find new information. Never though to search for Crarew! Good to have ages for Ann & son Frederick now.

I knew Wilford's parents and sister were in Providence in 1910 and Wilford wasn't there but didn't have exact address so another piece of the puzzle added.

Added- I didn't have a sister Stella for Wilford Carew but turns out she was Ann (Carew) Carew's sister.

I suspect they got missed in 1930.  The 1930 city directory still has Wilfred at 12 Cassius, but the census skips from 10 to 16 Cassius on the page with the even numbered addresses.

Thanks again, shellyesq. That would explain why I couldn't find the family in 1930.

I am not sure if anyone is following this thread anymore. I am trying to find info on this branch of the Carew family. Wilfred and Ann were my grand parents. I can only find info back to Martin and Amelia, and can only find Ann in a marriage record. It seem that before 1912 Ann did not exist.... I do know that she died in 1923 in New Haven Ct. There seems to be no records of her in Newfoundland where I believe she was born.

Still here  :)  Carew research was present for my brother-in-law but I should still have my notes and will try to dig them out later.

Would appreciate it very much, if it wouldn't be a problem. Somewhere along the line your brother in law and I must be related????

File found in recycle bin  :D

Martin Carew's parents were George Carew & Mary Ann Guerin. George Carew's parents were Thomas Carew (son of John/Jack? Carew & Mary Doyle) & Anna Coryear. SEE NEXT POST

I didn't try to trace the family further back but have lots of details & a few photos. We aren't allowed to post email addresses on the boards but now that you've made a few posts you should be able to get PMs (Personal Messages) so I'll send you a contact address I you want me to send the details I have.

Misread notes last night- Thomas Carew married Mary Doyle then Anna Coryear.

Checking a few things then will send file.
