Yes you could be right about the birth.  Will look to see if she had any siblings and if they were born in Ireland or here.  Maybe she was really born in Ireland but moved here so young she didn't realise. 

Husband is a lodger in Swindon in 1881 but I suppose he could have then moved to lodgings in London and that's where they met. 

Haven't found the marriage online to see what addresses they gave.

It was her parents in the 1871 who said she was born in Gloucestershire, so she probably was. They were quite old then, so perhaps she was the youngest child.

Yes of course you are right groom it was her parents who gave her birthplace in 1871.

I'm not finding her as married in 1891 either  :-\  I also thought she was missing in 1911 but have found her fallen down the page!
