Not sure that this is significant, but I knew that I had seen the name Kew somewhere......

My apologies, dicoian - I see that you have been on-line on a number of occasions since you posted this query (and your other 2 queries) and yet have NEVER responded to any of them.  A response to any or all of them would be greatly appreciated by those people who have offered to help you.  8)

Oops, you did respond to the other thread  :'( :'(

Hi BumbleB

Partly my fault here as Ian is a new poster and unfamiliar with RC.   Ian pm'd me details from his mothers birth cert which I posted in my earlier reply and then sent me this info re: his grandmother Hilda.  I didn't post it as it needed clarification as you will see from my reply to Ian

Quote
apparently she died 1932,aged 20.2 years after mother was born.i will check mothers birth certificate and find out some more information and let you know.(you seem to find out more things than i have)
thankyou

My reply

1932 can't be right nor can age 20.  Marriage 1927 so she would only have been 15yrs old then.  Also - no Hilda Kew death in 1932

Was your mum (name omitted as I don't know whether she is still alive) b 1930?

I wonder if this was Hilda's birth reg

Births September qtr 1901
Hilda   Glenn     Bourn    7a   365

Per 1911 - parents Harry and Elizabeth Ann

There is a Hilda Kew death in Sleaford June qtr 1969 with a birthdate of 14.9.1900

Above birth was in September qtr so I wonder if whoever reported her death got the year wrong

Fine - but not clear to others who have posted, with no obvious response to their submissions.  :)
