James Newton Henning
« on: Thursday 13 October 16 01:52 BST (UK) »
Hello,

Looking for information on Dr J N H born 1930's Cumberland, BC. Wife's name was Diane, sister Jean Gibson "Helen" Henning. J was a pathologist in Barrie, Mississauga & Orillia. I can't seem to find an obituary or an other information besides a voters list for 1974 and an address from 2001. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Carole,

I believe he is deceased as told to me by a relative that I am doing the research for. I understand your policy. Can you please delete this post for me?

Thank you

There is another Henning (rellie?) in Barrie whom you may be able to reach through this link to the telephone directory. Just key in the last name and Barrie Ontario as location. Contact info is provided.

You could also contact the Barrie Public Library to inquire about a possible obit if he passed away in the area. Libraries generally have an 'ask a librarian' button. A bit of a long shot without a date but a death for a physician may ring a bell at the library.

No reference to Dr. Henning in the Canadian Physicians and Surgeons' list.  Found a birth notice for a grandchild in 1999 indicating James and Diane were living in Oro Station, Ontario.  I can find no reference in the archives of the Toronto Star or the Globe and Mail that he is deceased.

Hi KJH001 -

Welcome to RootsChat

Merry Christmas
