My vote [sorry Gadget, Heather & others] is for Berry or Bervy - like Peter I see 2 strokes [down and up] at the front of this letter and ALL the 'B's in the previous snippet whereas the 'D's in earlier thread have only a down stroke.

Hope this helps,
I must say I'm thinking it is a H, like ausjen, for the first letter working off the top name in this list, looking forward to your opinions.
Thanks.

Helps  ??? muddies the water more like  ::).  Yes I see a distinct similarity between the first letter of the first surname [more likely to be Harland than Barland ?] and also with the first letter of the forename which has to be Helen [Cleghorn].

4H, you're a tease!

Okay, it's an "H", and probably "Henry".

Cheers, mate, I'm off to bed,
Peter

Yep - having seen the probable Harland, it's an H.

Wish you'd put up some extra info first time around, 4H.  It would help. Most people do as it's not a quiz  and we're not going to run off with you docs  ::)

As I said I was having trouble posting more of the image, I wasn't trying to make a quiz of it so I apologize to all  if I have upset any one it was not my intent, I appreciate all help I have received on this great site and I think most are really nice helpful people.

Sorry for any trouble.
