William and Elizabeth Lovegrove 1841.

I am having trouble finding William born c1812 Kersley and Elizabeth Lovegrove born c1817 Shustoke along with their daughter Mary Ann born c1836 Fillongley.

in 1841.By 1851 they are in Coleshill.

Hi Richard I have all those and more its only 1841 I can't find them.

Does seem strange that the 1841  Census is missing.  From subsequent later ones he is in the same area (roughly) so one would assume he was there in 1841.  The only thing I can think of if there was an issue with that year for that particular area.

Wonder if anyone on rootschat would be able to confirm that for you

I was thinking they may have been in Fillongley still where Mary Ann was born because Mary Ann is still in Fillongley in 1851.allthough its only down the road from Gilson.

Been looking for Mary Ann as well. Found one but the ages are all wrong with William being born in 1786, with a wife Elizabeth also born that time in Oxford area.
