Broom Street Liverpool
« on: Sunday 16 October 16 09:17 BST (UK) »
Can anyone help me locate Broom Street on an old map of Liverpool.? I have looked at quite a few maps of the area but cannot see this street. My great grandfather was living there in 1854, according to the baptism record. It was in the Scotland Road area

It was off Athol Street. Going up Athol Street from Great Howard Street it was the second road on the right after St Alban's Chapel.

Many thanks Shaun j, I was beginning to think the street never existed. I know he was baptised in St Albans too, just round the corner to Broom St
