Posting random information can cause confusion but you need to make sure that you post all the information you have when asking for help.

It's still a bit confusing as a birth for Margaret Theresa Acheson (1915 Longford) is posted as well as this comment so you need to be careful that you are not tracing the wrong people in Canada (or elsewhere)
The 1974 list has an H. Dynes, warehouse manager, in the household as well -- likely her husband, who perhaps had passed away by 1979.  They were living in a different apartment in the same building.

In 1962, they are living on 64th Avenue, and his name is given as Hugh.  She is working as a meat packer.  There is an index reference to the death of Hugh John Dynes, born 1913, died 1979 in the Edmonton Journal.

Margaret Theresa (Atcheson) Dynes died in 1999.  Perhaps the other poster who called the Edmonton library can check for an obituary for these two.

What surname is on her birth registration? i can't see a Margaret Acheson born 1908 anywhere  :-\

When and where did she marry?

(some of these answers may be somewhere on the thread but it's become such a jumble that I'm not going to go back through it all yet again)

sorry meant to say she is on the 1911 census aged 3,

There's a Maggie Achison, age 3, in 1911 census- are you sure this child survived and thy didn't reuse the name for a later child?

If the 1956 manifest is for her there should also be record of at least one trip from U.K. to Canada and this means her marriage to John? Dynes was after 1956.
