That is brilliant.. I have a postcard which I bought in Bayeux, of the boat at 1.24 in this video. It shows one of the army knocking back the wine. We have always said this must be my ancestor, Alured de Valer.

Having been to Bayeux in June, and looking at the tapestry, this really enhances the experience of seeing it first hand.

I was not aware of the shear size of the tapestry, it is huge.
