1901 or 1911 barracks census in cork

trying to find benjamin joseph whitehead . stationed in barracks in cork at time of census being taken anybody know  how i can find him please.i have looked on the census for cork but it doesnt give people in barracks at the time.

People in institutions should be listed by initials.

No results at all or just not found him listed? If he doesn't seem to be there perhaps he was elsewhere on census night.

When and where was he born?
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Per his army records he was in the East Indies from 1898 to 1906.

Per his army records he was in the East Indies from 1898 to 1906.

So certainly 'elsewhere' in 1901!

thank you for your help . the ones in cork are not him but thank you . he was born 1878 in england nr coventry and was in the royal artillary. he was discharged in 1912 due to illness and died in 1913 back in coventry aged 35.
