Daniel McIver(s), McIvor, farmer Bracky
« on: Thursday 20 October 16 05:24 BST (UK) »
This man was possibly married to a Martha X and they had a son Joseph in 1838 and possibly a John and William.

May have died in 1870 aged 66 (so born c 1804).

In 1825 Applotment records he is listed as Daniel McIvers with possible brothers Audley and William.

Thank you for any help

New post looking for tithe details-
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=757890.0

The tithe lists don't show relationships but do you have other reasons for thinking that Audley, Daniel & William might be brothers?

What religion were the family?

William John, son of Audley & Mary Anne McIvor, bapt.1859- https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FRW5-5HV

Hugh McIvor, son of Audley, married 1847- https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:FGCW-2LT

no proof yet but all three have same surname in a tiny area. That is good enough at this point. I'll follow up what you've suggested. I thought with such an unusual name as Audley/Adley - it would be easy to find him. Need to find someone with the access to the follow-up Tithe Applotment records and follow them through as far as they go or the names go. Unfortunately only one area of Tyrone seems to be online.
I'd expect them to be Pres. or CofI

Have you checked PRONI's e-catalogue to see what records they hold?

thanks for teh will of John McIvor 1887 who I am fairly sure in Joseph's brother. He had two marriages and his second wife was a Jane. Hugh is one of his sons.
