Osborne of Hinton St. George/Merriott.

I have George Osborne c.1836 who married Sarah Slade 1760 Hinton St. George and as far as I have been able ascertain they had---
Lucy bpt.1761 Hinton St. George ( possibly married Robert Chant 1816 Merriott)?
Abraham bpt 1766  "          "     (married Prudence Lawrence 1789 Merriott). I have their family.
Ruth bpt. 1768 died 1771 Hinton St. George.
George bpt. 1771-1771 Hinton St. George.
Ruth 1772 -1776 Merriott.
Mary bpt 1775 Merriott.
Ruth bpt 1778 Merriott.

I have found a birth Alexander Osborne bpt May 1811 Merriott Base born child of Ruth Osborne and also a marriage at Crewkerne for Ruth Osborne to Samuel Genge Nov.1798 with witnesses (looks like) Jas. Palmer and Thomas Wheadon, have seen the record. Therefore Ruth Osborne mother of Alexander 1811 can't be the same lady.
I haven't been able to find more on Samuel Genge/Ruth Osborne Genge other than a death for a Samuel Genge 1840 Crewkerne and Ruth Genge Dec.1841 Crewkerne but her age is out 87 yrs, my Ruth would have been 80 so I suppose it could be a mistake but where was she 1841 census?

If anyone can help to clarify if this is  Ruth b.1778 dau of George and Sarah I would be very grateful or if Ruth Osborne mother of Alexander is her.

I wonder if 87 should be 81 and the numbers were read incorrectly?

There is a Ruth George age 81 in 1841 with a Charles Darage 40 in Frome.

I think George could be mistaken for Genge or vice versa.

I can see that the George/Genge could be vice versa, the age would be right but Ruth was born in County though.
Well!  the age given for the burial 30 Dec. Crewkerne is 87  which I did wonder if it should have been 81, on Freereg but it's 57 on FindMyPast, Hm!

There's another Ruth Genge death - Yeovil district Mar 1844 but don't know how old she was.

So there should be at least two of them around in 1841!

Sorry maybe not, there is a birth in Yeovil Dec 1843 so she could be the death in 1844
