James Craig
« on: Friday 21 October 16 09:30 BST (UK) »
I have a James Craig who family sources say was born in Inveresk, Midlothian, Scotland in 1612 to a James Craig and Margaret Peters. It has been suggested that this James was born to  Lewis Craig and Beatrix Chirnside in 1585.  I would appreciate any help which can verify the above information.
Thanks in anticipation.
Don.

Hi Don: It might help if you explained James Craig's connection to the County of Sutherland (which is the centre of interest for this particular board)

I am trying to discover the parents of James Craig (Crage) who was born in c.1585 in Sutherland.
Any help much appreciated. I have been led to believe his parents were Lewis Craig and Beatrix Chirnside.
Don.
