Moore of Back Townland, Myroe
« on: Tuesday 25 October 16 19:53 BST (UK) »
I am searching for Mark Moore or Mark B Moore born 1888. In 1911 he was a postman living in Back Townland, Myroe near Limavady. He was a sergeant in the 10th Inniskilling Fusiliers, was wounded in July 1916 at the Battle of the Somme but apparently survived. Probably went to England but where?

Unfortunately families reuse names. Marcus Moore was a nephew of Mark B Moore. Thanks for that anyway.

Mark (or Marcus) Moore b 1888 in Back, Myroe had 12 siblings. I have traced all except Mark after 1916 and Mary Orr Moore (or Minnie) b 1872 who disappears after being in Strabane in 1901 census.
Thanks for the links.

Thanks for the link but the many small subpost offices run from a family's home were not usually part of the post office establishment.
