Owen Doyle - RDF 1911 Census

You are only allowed to post a small portion of the census for deciphering purposes and we aren't allowed to do lookups for 1911 English census (if that's where you found Owen Doyle in 1911) but as the original poster you can transcribe the entry so that we know what you've found.

Difficult to search for 'Owen Doyle' in Ireland without any idea of age but if he married or had children when still in the Army his service # might appear on the certificate.

They were in the same area on & about 31/7/17. While Jack was at Shrewsbury Forest E. of Ypres Owen was in the Proven area in reserve which is W. of Ypres about 25 mls. away.
If he was wounded during that battle he would almost certainly have been evacuated to a dressing station at Ypres & probably to one on the field hospitals beyond if his injury was serious enough which would put them closer. All guesswork of course.
Going through both diaries may get them even closer at some point.

Don't think they are on Ancestry , as mentioned he did nt seem to serve very long at that time.
