MI transcriptions? Humphrey Jones
« on: Thursday 27 October 16 15:38 BST (UK) »
HI
Does anyone know of any transcriptions of MIs in Chester?  Hoping for some clues to sort out my Jones tree.
In particular I am trying to find an estimate of dob for Humphrey Jones, Carpenter he married Ann Taylor in 1799 and I have found baptisms for children 1800-1814.
I can't find either in 1841 and there are possible burials:
Humphrey Jones age 46 St John the Baptist, Chester 28 Feb 1815
Ann Jones age 58 28 Feb 1832 from BT (but also a marriage Ann Jones (widow) and Evan Williams 1818)
Mary

if you search the catalogue for "monumental inscriptions"  you will  find a lot, many are for other parts of Cheshire, but scroll though them and there are some for Chester.

Census information is Crown Copyright (see: www.nationalarchives.gov.uk)
