Rynagh Cemetery
« on: Thursday 27 October 16 23:39 BST (UK) »
I posted a while ago about my ancestor William Winder http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=707107.0. I now know this is definitely him. I found his death information and gravestone inscription on a pay-per-view website. The record says he died 31 May 1837 (although I think this is a transcription error and should be 1839). The cemetery is listed as Rynagh and he denomination is listed as Church of England. Does anyone know exactly where this cemetery might be? I see one but it is Catholic. I would like to try and get a photo of the headstone. Thanks for your help!

Give a man a record and you feed him for a day.
Teach a man to research, and you feed him for a lifetime.

There is or was a COI parish called St.Rynagh's http://www.irish-geneaography.com/co-offaly-kings-county-coi-parish-records.html

This church of St.Paul's is in the parish of St.Rynaghs, not sure if there are any more churchs in the parish.

You can see it has burials.
