looking for a name

Hello,
Having a bit bother with Scotlandspeople  logging in .
wondering if someone can help me please ?
I'm looking for a name listed in the (free wills name list) they apparently left an ancestor a substantial amount of money in their will  .This was in 1882 and his "friend"? lived in Skene.
This is all i know ...but thought if i can get the name of this person who died in Skene 1882?...then i can maybe figure out who this person actually was to my ancestor .

5 males of an age  died Skene in 1882-

Alexander Abel
David Abernethy
George Cruikshank
George Pirie
James Thomson

As far as I can see two people from the above list left wills -

George Cruikshank
James Thomson

Ive just came across a name  for a Dr.Kelsie  he wouldnt be in Skene by any chance give a year or so ?

He doesn't appear in the deaths for Skene or wills (all Scotland), 1880-85.  Testaments could be recorded many years later though.

... which doesn't mean that the friend died in Skene.
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

That's why I check the wills for all Scotland (see my previous posts) and have subsequently checked for deaths in all Scotland 1880-1890.   The surname might be wrongly transcribed/interpreted but I don't see anything that looks promising.

Added - the only surname that came up consistently was Kelso but there were many with that name.
