Census Search - can't find Robert DULSON

As some of you guys are pretty hot on this topic, can someone see if they can find:
Robert DULSON (b.1836, Prees, Shropshire) on any census before 1881 Please?

I have him on 1881, 1891, and 1901 (he died in 1903)
Wife was Jane Dulson nee Evans
Parents John and Jane Dulson nee Morris

My eyes are so tired that all the text is wobbly!  I've tried FindMyPast and Ancestry - but I'm sure its because I can't see the wood for the trees.

He (aged 33) is with widowed mother Jane Morris (63) in Whixall in 1871.  Both birthplaces stated as Whixall.

Slightly confused - was his mother nee Morris or was she widowed and married a Morris because she is Jane Morris widow not Jane Dulson widow  :-\

Looks as if his father died between 1845 and 1851 and the family have split up, so he may be working somewhere.
