Suggestion to identify new topics

When you have selected 'Unread Posts'  which shows at the top left hand corner of this page the page that comes up has a small box to the far right side against every post.  This is where I select the posts I don't want to read - 'Ignore topic'  shows above this column of boxes and below it (to the left of 'all unread topics' )

I only seem to get a tiny box on the rhs of each topic which takes me to the latest post

Couldn't agree more!

"Looking for a birth" tells us zilch.

"Looking for a birth for Joe Bloggs, Newcastle, England, c1830" would be a great help.

Can you do a screenshot to show us where it is please?

Rosie has got extra boxes that I haven't got, and I can't make them appear whatever I do

Where did you acquire the 'Mark selected read' header from?
I don't get that either

Those headings are at the top of both the pages for Unread posts and New replies that I get when I click these links, I assumed everyone got them
