Robert Forrester b about 1811 Brick Wall

Hi,
I'm trying to find the parents of Robert Forrester b about 1811 (occ) Tailor) Married to Mary Gardner 25 March 1837 Slamannan
Children:
Robert  b. about 1836 Slamannan Married Jane McKechnie
William  b. about 1841 Slamannan Married to Janet Rae
Jane  b. about 1841 Slamannan (Williams Twin) Married to Henry Sneddon
I can not find births certs for anyone or a death cert for Robert (1811)
1841 Census has family living at Avonbridge
I have seen tree's on Family Search listing Robert Forrester and Margaret Aitken as Roberts parents but no proof.

Any help would be great! Thanks

There is a birth for a Robert Forrester 31May b1806 Polmont Stirling baptism 15 June
Father William Forrester mother Margaret Aitken

Hi Rosie,

Thanks for the quick reply! the marriage of Robert and Jane McKechnie 1858 lists him as deceased in 1858 the 1851 census has Mary Forrester (GARDNER) Head, Widow, William son and Jane daughter (twins both 9 y/o). Mary is listed as a Grocer. I saw William and Margaret Aitken son Robert 1806 .... I just can't be sure until I have a link backwards from Robert/Mary Gardner.

I'm still digging! lol
