« on: Wednesday 02 November 16 14:21 GMT (UK) »
Hello John Raven is buried in Burnham Westgate, he died 1 March 1876 in Thornham, he was shot by John Shilling, I am trying to find out more about John Shilling, I know  that he was executed and hung in chains, but I would like to find out who he was and who his family were. I would be most grateful for any information however small.

Crossing my fingers, Brenda

There's a marriage between a John Shilling and Mary Good in Stanhoe with Barwick on 20 May 1782, could be parents of the Mary baptised at S Creake. It's only about 5 miles away
