The 1915 entry would appear to narrow down Duncan's death to, at most, a six year span (from their marriage in 1909) although the possible deaths I found on SP are later - 1918 

I know from the 1926 Register of Marriage that Robina was living in Lyon Street, Dundee when she remarried.

I have a note to check the 1911 Census when I go to Edinburgh this month although looking at the SP index on-line for her (age 40) the results don't initially appear to be very helpful.

This is proving to be a very well built brick wall

I know from the 1926 Register of Marriage that Robina was living in Lyon Street, Dundee when she remarried.

The 1925 VR shows a Thomas Bruce at 49 Lyon Street. Other households too. Maybe Thomas was a relative of Robina?

Like you, can't find an obvious entry for 1911 for Robina. As you say, better to wait till you are at an SP centre and review the possibilities for her (her age may have been misrecorded or surname mistrancribed as we know happens).
