On the new GRO index Elizabeth's maiden name is a variant of Spirrel/Spurrell for this family.

Let me know if you can confirm address or witness at marriage in 1901, can go back further, if likely correct family. Have chased Elizabeth back to Carmarthen and possible marriage of her parents.

There are other online chasing the same Jones/Spurrell family, maybe it will benefit them, at some point.

The above marriage, of Daniel/Sophia should give his address, name his father, and possibly related witness, to connect to the 1881-1901 Jones family. This is the marriage I referred to.
