That's the other one in Goldsmith Street, I said that it was the other one that Dathí posted in Belvedere Road :)
Here's the link for you again if you missed it the first time :)

Hallmark,
I asked the question about the word in Irish, if you can answer that then cool, but as you are so concerned about the other Thomas, he was in Bagenalstown in the 1911.
I am really looking forward to you answering my question though :)

Hallmark,
Apologies my good friend, that is him in the 1911 census on Belvedere road, he's my Grandads brother, unfortunately he came to an untimely end in Bagenalstown a handful of years after this, very unfortunate situation, very sad for his parents.
Now back to the question, Hallmark, thank you for all your attention on this matter, and I really appreciate your concerns about my Great Uncle Thomas or Tomás as he liked to be called. Now we've cleared up the matter that concerns you, maybe you can impress me with you knowledge 'As Gaelge'
Go raith maith agat!!

Thank you Eadaoin
I couldn't see that at all, now you say it, I can see it!! Though the truth was he was born in Sallypark, Co, Waterford, so was looking for Port Lairge, I also find that older Irish a bit harder to read than the stuff you see on road signs and TG4!
Once again, many thanks for your help, and you too Daithí.
All the best
Pete

Yes I know that, only wanted to know where he was in 1901 so I could look at that to see what he said then!  Hence asked a few times about 1901

Hallmark,
Yes, it seems rather unusual that he is staunchly Irish language based in 1911, but not in 1901, his his surname is even spelt wrong in the 1901, strange. Poor lad, he had a lot of promise but went on the downward spiral of addiction, to an untimely death in 1914, the more i see about him, the sadder i feel.
Thanks for your attention Hallmark, I am really glad I got an answer in the end.
All the best

What's strange about mistakes in his 1901 census entry? he didn't personally fill out the form-
