Elizabeth Tucker nee Birt

Elizabeth Birt b 1799 in Awre married Joseph Tucker 1823 in St Augustine the Less Bristol. They had two children Elizabeth Mary French bap 29 Aug 1824 and Joseph William Birt  bap  21 Dec 1830 both at St James Bristol. Joseph remarries in Dec 1838 in Walworth Surrey. I have checked all burials in GRO death index between Jul 1837 and Dec 1838 but am wondering if Elizabeth died before Joseph moved up to Surrey. Any help appreciated.

Did you discard this one, although to have remarried in the Dec quarter, he'd have had to have had a whirlwind romance!

When did Elizabeth nee BIRT - father/mother die ? did they leave a Wills, which may show if Elizabeth was still alive or deceased  ?  and where were the parents buried?

Although the family were resident in Bristol - some of Joseph's children were buried at Awre

Sorry just found on Familysearch and it's not her.

There is a Mary Tucker 2.6.1837 baptised to Joseph and Elizabeth at Bristol on there.

Thank you for your reply. Sorry I did not give date of birth but the Elizabeth you found born 1799 in Awre is the right one, the children buried at Awre were her siblings the parents being Joseph Birt and Betty Jones. Joseph and Betty had moved to Bristol and lived in Castle Precincts. At some stage they moved to Lambeth Surrey possibly either when their daughter and her husband Joseph Tucker moved to Surrey or if Elizabeth had died in Bristol to be near their grandchildren and/or to assist with their care. Joseph Birt died 28 Dec 1839 and Betty died 11 Apr 1850 neither appear to have left a will.

Thanks for your reply. I will check the Mary Tucker baptised 2.6.1837 and see if this is my Joseph and Elizabeth. If it is maybe Elizabeth died as a result of childbirth  and it would also define time of the move to Surrey.

Have checked the baptism of Mary Tucker 2 June 1837 it was a nonconformist birth record and the mother Elizabeth was the daughter of Charles Hedges. So not my Joseph and Elizabeth.
