thomas watson wigtownshire
« on: Tuesday 08 November 16 16:17 GMT (UK) »
Hi Looking for info on thomas watson who was a beadle in kirkcolm in wigtownshire in the 1850s and 1860s. Have no record of parents for him though I think he was born in Ireland. Also I have his wife recorded as Mary Ann Ferguson but not sure of this.
His daughter was Mary Watson who married a Francis McKendry; the McKendrys are proving to be quite elusive although it appears a lot of them spent time in the poorhouse.
Any info would be appreciated
Thanks

Previous thread on McKendry/McKendrie Kirkcolm - March 2011 - probably not enough info to help you though.

Francis died in 1870 in Kirkcolm and Mary in 1887 in Ayrshire

Francis McKendry -  aged 66 years - 1871 - 887/ 1 Kirkcolm
