Perhaps this thread would benefit from a move to Wigtownshire.  Hopefully someone may be able to find the burial of Thomas Watson at Kirkcolm  ???

Rootschatter Suzilad had a friend who did a look up in the  MI's booklet for Kirkcolm and neither Thomas Watson or his wife are listed - so may be there is no marker.  You could try the Burial Records Office at Blackparks Industrial Estate  Stranraer -  you would need the exact date of death.

Thanks Suzilad, that was very generous of you
Regards
Sandra  ;)

Just noticed that the OP has been on line today but failed to acknowledge the work done so far- do hope they come back soon to recognise our efforts.

Thank you Sandra for that nice to be able to help someone when I can as I have been very lucky with all the advice I've had from "Rooters" .

jinxyjess if you do  contact the records office  in Stranraer  you will definitely need Thomas's date of death as the records are not on line . They have to look through big books so you can imagine this is very time consuming .Sandra has given you one that looks promising and it you will be able to get the information right away from Scotlands People.
I know from experience as I have been in the offices but as I knew date of death and cemetery it didn't take them long.
