I was looking at the Church of Ireland church in Ballintra on StreetView and was wondering how old it might be?

Since 3 of my 16 GG grandparents were baptised in this church I had spent some time years ago trying to get the geography of this area straight in my head.  Here in Canada it is difficult to grasp how the long history has led to a confusing batch of placenames.  I have lately been re-examining my roots in County Donegal thanks to the change from pay per search to subscriptions at RootsIreland and am delighted that you have led me to this site, where by going to map view and searching I now know where the townlands of Drumnacroil & Kilgole were located relative to each other and the parish church.

Do you know all Civil Registers are now online, free, from 1845 for Church of Ireland

Birth, Marriage and Death results from 1845 to 1864
Area - Ballyshannon

Displaying results 1 - 100 of 2640.  Ballyshannon irishgenealogy

as you don't give Surname!!

http://www.rootschat.com/links/01iu6/  but you can then go here and just put whatever Surname you want in Surname box, then Search!!

The 2640 will be non RC's, as they didn't register until 1865
