born in Barby Northamptonshire

Hi Folks, I have two ancestors, a mother and her daughter, who claim to have both been born in Barby but I have been unsuccessful in finding either of them in the 1841 census or in the Barby parish records. I am searching for Elizabeth  (father's name Samuel Peasnal) born in 1816 or 1821 Barby. Her daughter is Eliza (father's name Charles Vials, a miner) born in 1838 Barby. Any information very much appreciated.

The Northamptonshire Baptism Index cd has one baptism for a child of Samuel and Elizabeth PEASNAL at Barby. Martha bapt 29 Aug 1830. Samuel was as a labourer.
Samuel and Elizabeth don't seem to have married in the county.

There's also another 6 children 1796 - 1811 for Samuel & Elizabeth: Ann, Rebecca, Sarah, Mary, William, and Joseph

There's also a John VOILE, son of Charles & ELizabeth Voile baptised in 1836. John is in Samuel Peasnall's house in 1841.

Warwickshire Marriages have Charles Voile married to Elizabeth Peaslington on 14 Oct 1835 at Newbold Upon Avon

Barry may be close to the border with either Warwickshire or Leicestershire. Check on the registration districts

Martha must be a very late baptism if she is the child of the same Samuel and Elizabeth.

I think Barby is in the Rugby registration district
