Jane Williams baptised Nantglyn c1806
« on: Friday 11 November 16 10:48 GMT (UK) »
Looking for the baptism of Jane Williams at Nantglyn in Denbighsire, born somewhere around...
1806 (according to 1841 census)
1806 (1851 census)
1806 (1861 census)
1805 (1881 census)

She named her children Edward, John, Elizabeth and Mary. Three of these are likely named from her husband's side of the family, but a mother named Elizabeth or Jane would be useful.

Any help hugely welcome!

Hi,

Her husband was Thomas Millward who had been born at Bodelwyddan in 1787.

I can see her marriage on 5th March 1830  (Marriages solemnised in the parish of Denbigh
Thomas Millward of St Asaph, bachelor and Jane Williams of this parish, spinster
Witnesses - Edward Millward and Elizabeth Williams) but I cant see a banns record that might have given more clues.
What more do you know about her?

Thanks. I have seen that before - Edward is Thomas' brother, suggesting that Elizabeth may be Jane's sister.

Apart from that, I don't really know anything. She died in 1887 at a good old age, and stayed in Roe, St. Asaph all her life. I know her kids' names, and that's about it, sadly...
