Thank you again for all your help. I still can't find my John who according to his marriage certificate was born in 1864. I can see 5 other children The youngest being Mary born in 1865. Your pointers have been so useful.

Have you found parent's Marriage in RC register??

With them being in Latin.... is this a Denis??

Pity you didn't include a link to Mary to save others having to search to see them, but I think Mother's name is same as Marriage above... it might be clearer on some of the other Baptisms.

(There was a death registered at Stranorlar for the first Mary MacCormack who died on 29 April 1874, reported age 9, the address was Gleneely, the informant was Denis MacCormack who was present at death.)
