Taking a round about look at this

Rose MOORE died on Mar 08 1927 - LINK see entry 434 at the bottom of the page
The informant was her daughter Elizabeth QUINN

I searched for a marraige and found - LINK
Elizabeth LODGE otherwise MOORE married Michael QUINN on Sept 3rd 1919
There is a possibility that this church may have noted details of Eliza's first marriage and the death of her first husband.

Believing that the civil record I found for Thomas LODGE in Trim in Q2 1916 is correct would imply that Eliza's first husband Charles LODGE Snr died between mid 1915 and sometime 1919

This is a good possibility dathai
http://www.cwgc.org/find-war-dead/casualty/287324/LODGE,%20C
although his effects records shows his name as Charlie and that his things went to his father and doesn't mention a wife

Thomas's birth may have been registered late

Hi Folks

Firstly, thanks to all of you for the effort you have put into this, I too jumped when I saw the CWGC entry for the Charles Lodge that died 01.09.14, but as said, his effects went to his father. I am seeing if I can get any further nfo on the family.

Thanks again.
