The marriage is in Accrington district, Hyndburn (modern area) Register Office or Registrar Attended.

Right area. That generation ought to be on the 1911 census around there. Probably on 1901 too.
Looking at ALSTON in south Ribble area, ALSTEAD and DONBAVAND/DUNBABIN etc. everywhere, HOWCROFT and MARSH in Bolton and Westhoughton, PICKERING in the Whitehaven area.

1911 census is still off limits, here on RootsChat, due to copyright issues ::)

You'll have to find it yourself.

On 3 July 1895 Hugh Cross married Mary Emma Eglin at St. Paul, Accrington.
Lan-OPC:
Hugh Crossley - 21, Slater, Bachelor, 10 Queen St
Mary Emma Eglin - 19, Spinster, 8 Holden St Accrington
Groom's Father: Hugh Crossley, Cotton manufacturer
Bride's Father: William Eglin, Cotton weaver (Deceased)
Witness: George Edward Whitehead; Martha Ellen Holden
Married by Banns by: Joseph Fletcher Curate
The Banns say Cross for the surname, but you might have to search under both to find them.

It appears that Hugh Cross died in 1910 (LancashireBMD) and Mary Emma remarried to William Henry Hamer.

As to WHICH William Henry, I think you will need the marriage cert to work it out. There are LOADS of them in Lancashire!

The cert won't be available online, unfortunately.

I've not found Mary in 1911 yet. There is a Mary Cross in the right area. She claims to be married, rather than a widow, but that's not unusual. However she has a daughter Matilda, and the birth registration for her has a maiden name of Booth mentioned.
