HICKMAN OF BUCKINGHAM
« on: Friday 18 November 16 16:13 GMT (UK) »
Want to find descendants of Dorothy Elsie Hickman born 1922 died 1971 married Hounslow and subsequently married Andrews.

Dorothy's parents were James Herbert Hickman 1885-13.08.1973 and Elsie French.  1911 census shows James Herbert is a carpenter and parents are shown as James Hickman and Mary Whitmore Hickman residing at 47 Nelson Street, Buckingham.  Another address connected to them was 35 High Street, Buckingham - they had a shop at one of these addresses.

A relative A J Hickman was a cabinetmaker, upholsterer, french polisher with addresses 3 & 4 Bath Lane and 47 Nelson Street, Buckingham.

Regards

Chris

Hi and welcome to Rootschat

Want to find descendants of Dorothy Elsie Hickman born 1922 died 1971 married Hounslow and subsequently married Andrews.

As any children born to her marriage may still be living we cannot post any information here as Rootschat has a "no living persons"  policy

Her death registration shows she died in Hertfordshire

EDIT

Her first marriage was in the March qtr 1943 to Stanley Jack Hounslow who died on 13.4.1943 in WW2

Her second was in 1945

That's a shame I have photos belonging to her parents family and business.  I couldn't find that she had any children from either marriages.  Can I repost excluding her details?

Hi

Posting her details is not a problem as she is deceased.  It is details of any children who may well still be alive that cannot be given.  See my edit to my reply above as I found a bit more info

No children to her marriage to Hounslow which is not surprising given he must have died a very short time later

There is a possible child born to the second marriage in 1946
