Hi

Wondering if anyone can help....

Looking at Ireland Index to Wills, 1384-1858
  Scot, John, Ardgrevine, p. Cumber..........1725

Where is Ardgrevine in Cumber....would it be Ardground?

Thx....

If Cumber hadn't been specified, I would have ventured Ardgarvin / Ardgarvan in Drumachose civil parish.  As is however, just to note that a Robert and James Scott were listed against Ardground, Cumber Lower, in the tithe applotment books (1827).

Is Ardgrevine an attempt to capture Ard-grian?

Thank you - I think you have nailed it - easy mistake for a transcriber to make from what it was called in 1686 - Ardgrewne!  Thank you! Thank you!
