John Way b. Q4 1851 Hawkchurch

Hello,
I'm trying to find the baptism of John Way. FreeBMD gives his birth as Q4 1851, and the available Census returns consistently give his birthplace as Hawkchurch, then in Dorset, but in Devon from 1896. I have looked on the Dorset OPC, but the baptisms have only been transcribed up to and including 1851, and because John's birth is Q4, I assume, if he was baptised, it would be 1852 or later. I would be very grateful for any help with this, thanks.

Have you looked at the new GRO index which now shows mothers maiden names for registrations before 1911

That's him! Thanks Rosie (not investigated the new GRO, only just come back to family history after a few months doing other things). Maybe he wasn't baptised?

1861 has Joseph & Ann - all children born Hawkchurch. 1851 they are in Hawkchurch giving that as their place of birth
