Elizabeth Ann Gardner/Gardener
« on: Sunday 20 November 16 22:17 GMT (UK) »
Elizabeth Ann Gardner married William Brimble in Monmouthshire in 1877. In 1881 and later census records she is listed as born in 1860 in either Milton or Witney. To help me - I thought! - find her parents I got her marriage certificate which shows her age as 20 and her father as 'William Yeatmen, blacksmith, deceased' there is a william yeatman in Clanfield who could be him but I haven't been able to find any record that links them, or that gives me any help in finding her mother's name. I'm quite baffled and would appreciate any suggestions or help. Thank you.

Hi PenG
Welcome to Rootschat :)
There are a couple of trees on Ancestry that have Elizabeth's father as William Yeatman with a death year of 1860 in Cranfield. Her birth would appear to be in the Mar 1/4 1856 in Milton. There is no mention of her mother.
Elizabeth's birth or baptism entry should give her mother.

There is also a tree for her spouse William Brimble of Monmouthshire.

Online trees should be treated with caution and details verified.

Hope this helps
