Birt Acres - Motion Picture Pioneer

Hello. I am based in the UK and am researching a fellow named Birt Acres born Jul 1854 in Richmond Virginia and also his possible son Birt Acres born Oct 1881 (from 1900 Census) Virginia. I am hoping to find the names of the parents of both the elder and the younger Acres. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank You.

Can I just ask if Birt is in England 1911 born c 1855 USA as there is a marriage 1891 in England
