Could I ask if anyone is going to Proni, could they please look up a death for a Thomas O'Neil.
registration district Londonderry, April/June quarter, 1919.estimated birth 1870, age 49. Film number 0101607, Vol 2 page 177.
This Gentleman was buried  in the same grave as my Gr Grandfather, a James Campbell, in the city cemetery. As I cant get any further for him, maybe Thomas O'Neil might give some further clues.
It would be most appreciated .

Regards Daisy

Thank you for your speedy reply, I didn't know that you could find that information on line, so a big thank you, although it still didn't give me any more clue as to why he would be buried with my Gr Grandad, I did at least find out a bit more about Thomas O'Neil. Much appreciated.

67601 Thomas ONeill joining the RA. Mother: Mary. He claims he was born in Shankhill, Belfast. But at the end of the file it says he had previously joined as William Campbell, born Derry. Mother Mary, living at 16 Rosewell/Roswell Street, Derry. They are definitely the same man as they have the same tattoo.

I think the answer lies in the other thread (which is why I posted the link)-

This Gentleman was buried  in the same grave as my Gr Grandfather, a James Campbell, in the city cemetery.
