2 of my male relations passed over at the above place-was it a hospital?

At a guess I would say that it was a private residence. I lived that way and nearly purchased a property there 25 years ago and as far as I remember it was a row of mainly bungalows overlooking the golf course.

Well I guess the 2 cousins must have lived there for a while, one died in 1979, the other 1984, so I suppose it was a family house that they lived in after their wives predeceased them.

Did they leave a will, the probate index often shows normal place of residence

Yes Rosie, the probate records gave that address for both of them in different years.
