Look Up for Benjamin Whitlock

There was actually a George James Whitlock baptised in Whittlebury in 1826, of Silverstone.

His mother was Mary, but there's no father. He is labelled illegitimate.

as far as I know, there isnt another baptism in Hannington.

So Birth c 1793 for Benjamin.

As Benj Jnr was Bapt 15 Sept 1822 and born 22 July 1822 Mary would be pregnant when Benj Snr died. So he would be his Son.

And the baptism of Benjamin Whitlock, son of Stephen & Sarah, at Whittlebury on 7 Aug 1791.

Whittlebury, for anyone who doesn't know, was the parish church for Silverstone until 1831, when the Silverstone registers started.

Stephen died in Silverstone in 1816, aged 72

Trish1120: Is this a remarriage as I have found a record where the three sons of Benjamin are living with Mary and George Chapman?

Yes it is a remarriage for Mary in 1830.
Benjamin died 1822 as I posted.

Benjamin had loads of siblings! 

From the PR, there was:
Anne   (10 Jul 1773), John (8 May 1774), William (17 Nov 1776), Elizabeth (15 Mar 1778), Mary (8 Oct 1780), Martha (15 Mar 1783), another Mary (22 Feb 1784), Ephraim (5 Nov 1786), Sarah (10 May 1789), and another William (18 Jan 1795).

There doesnt appear to be any burials for the two babies who must have died, but Whittlebury did seem to be a bit casual about their PRs. There's mostly just names without relationships in the burials anyway.

Ephraim married a Jane Whittern from Buckinghamshire, and had several children in Silverstone.

The other names are too common to be able to pick them out quickly.
