Just working my way through this, not very fast these days!

Was Hannah Clapton/Widgett born c 1803 from Census?

If so she was Bapt to JOHN/MARTHA 16 Oct 1803 Guiting Power

Yes that looks correct, 2 of the censuses have that location and one Temple Guiting all 1804, so she's a sister to William and an aunt to George. That's the Clapton part solved thanks to you and Keyboard86
Now to find the Wiggett connection between Edward and Elizabeth. It might not be solvable due to the missing parish records of Cutsdean

Cant find an Elizabeth to Richard/Mary Wigett but other Children were;
GEORGE 11 April 1802 Temple Guting (buried 14 April 1802)
WILLIAM 18 March 1804 Cutsdean
RICHARD 28 September 1806 Cutsdean

Thanks again Trish, great research.

What are folks thinking that Elizabeth Wiggett is likely a sister to the above sons? Unfortunately the Cutsdean records of her likely birth year 1790 are missing.

Yes my guess would be that Elizabeth is likely a Sister to George/William/Richard.

yes Trish, I would suspect that too, pity about the age gap, but it is an acceptable range.

Any tips on finding parents Richard Wiggett marriage to Mary?

Hi
This is my first post on RootChat - have read quite a bit of info on Clapton family from you and others.  My father - George Turner Clapton descending from William Clapton and Mary Turner, where we think "Turner" name came from.

I have:

William Clapton b 07.02.1808 (Slatemaker)
m 02.02.1830 Bredon Parish, Worcester
Mary Turner bap 29.11.1812
died 05.11.1837 - Cutsdean

Their son: George was b 29.01.1834 Cutsdean

I also have: Julia Clapton 15.04.1832 Winchcombe
Died 1833

There was a William Clapton born around 1837!
Is he anything to do with William and Mary (and her death?).

Thanks
