From another source, Arthur's birth (confirmed by lyp24) was  06 Oct 1886, so doesn't look as if that is him.

I've been looking for possible GOODALL birth/baptism entries for

Arthur 1886
George 1893
edit Herbert
Harold 1894

but not much luck  :(

Can't find Arthur on 1891 census and not having much luck with George & Herbert on later census
although there is a George of the right age with Y & M but he has a different surname  :(

1939 register has an
Arthur GOODALL 1886 & Beatrice 1891
Wetherby R.D. Yorkshire

1901 census has Arthur GOODALL pob Yearsley

can't find a Dec qtr. entry with surname GOODALL

Yearsley is in the reg. district for Easingwold - there's this entry

Dec 1886 Easingwold 9d 412
Arthur PALLISER

EDIT

possible death for this Arthur age 14 Easingwold Mar 1901

It looks like James (1887) was the son of Young's sister Mary who married Henry Francis Morrell in March qtr 1891 - he is a stepson in 1901 RG13/4143 f104 p35

Maybe Arthur was also Mary's  ::)

Do you think that the 'boarder' who is with Young on the next census is one of those  :-\

EDIT  It is Harold not Herbert  ;)

Was this source the 1939 register.  I understand that there are a few entries others have found that the year has been slightly wrong.
